It feels good to write to you again.

How is life with you?

May you find peace amidst the chaos of life.



Trending is Peter Obi's exit from the renowned People's Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria. You must have heard about it too, yeah?

Surfing the street of Twitter, jumping from comments to comments, all I could mumble to myself was HE LEFT. I do not know why he did, I do not think you do too, but he does. And I'm convinced that he took the step for his GOOD.


In June 2021, I discontinued my employment with three writing agencies. I didn't want to. But I did for my peace and sanity. 

It took a long battle between my spirit, brain, and pocket(if you know, you know) before I could pluck up the courage to send my resignation text. And in less than thirty minutes, I became an erstwhile employee at the industries.


I had thought that afterwards, I would have a red, bulgy eyes with my tissue paper offering condolence to my eyes and nose. But surprisingly, I was annoyingly calm. Yes, annoyingly. And I acted so blithefully. Maybe not blithefully. Maybe that is just how humans are meant to react when they walk out of places where their breath is held; talmbout the "I did what I did" kinda attitude rather than the unnecessary feeling of dejection. You deserve some peace, yeah. And you should chase it by all means, as long as you won't be inflicting harm by so doing (remember, it's love and light here).


 



Dear Dynamite, I think it's time we talked about placing yourself and your well-being ahead of other things. It is a world where we have numerous options, it is then left to you to select one which suits you.

I know it is quite easy to say you have a mind of your own, but do you really do? Or are you just a foe of your own thought, and a slave to people's impression?Do you think I could have taken a second glance if someone had told me not to quit? I do not think so.

Of course, there are times  you might have to take to people's opinion(s), but this should be after proper scrutiny. You do not just jump on advice. It is YOUR life, and your BREATH.


Like I will always say LIVE YOUR LIFE FULLY, and living your life fully means taking full/absolute control of your life. But remember, while getting your cool breath, let people breathe too!

    Reading this reminds me of a writing gig I wished I never took.

    I mean, talk of brain-draining job with meagre pay, compared to the stress in completing the job.

    Since then, I've been a "once-bitten, thrice shy" kind of person. 😂
