QUESTION TIME
Hi dynamite, welcome back!
I conversed with my mind a thousand and one times before finally grabbing my pen to write to YOU.
It'd be unjust to not ask how you have been faring (I'd be in the comment session to read the gist{s}).
For me, I've been doing my best to make myself and my society sane and safe (the "HOW" would be revealed soon). For now, just wish me the BEST!
Something caught my attention about the hullabaloo of the ongoing ASUU strike, and the thought of throwing a question as regard it drifted into my mind.
________
So, shall we?
I'm convinced that you must have been seeing some "ASUU-affected" students attest that the strike is a huge blessing to them; while some have signed up for and are sharpening new skills, others have found a space in the wealth system (they are making MONEY, gaining INFLUENCE, and are NETWORKING).
Here is the question, and a really HONEST answer is required;
Do you feel INTIMIDATED reading their stories, or do their stories INSPIRE you to get the ball rolling?
You can choose to answer ANONYMOUSLY.
I'll be in the comment session.❣️
A sane person would not feel intimidated reading stories of people who're doing well. I suppose it should be an encouragement;read their stories and let 'em 'ginger' you too . Everybody deserves everything good !

I feel intimidated, not gonna lie. I mean everyone has figured out one or two things and they're doing well. Not that I don't want them to do well, I wish them well in fact I'm really happy for them. But there are some of us that just wants school to resume and finish on time. I'm not sure I've answered your question correctly

Yeah I feel intimidated but it's a positive thing if you ask me cause when I feel intimidated, I used that as a fuel, as a motivation to step up my game.
ReplyDeleteSo it's basically about mindset. You see someone doing better than you or trying out new things ; it's your choice to either sit there and keep on snivelling or get up and make moves.

At some point I felt I’m not doing well enough compared to how my peers are doing remarkable things out there, hence, the reason for the INTIMIDATION. But when I looked back at what I’ve achieved during this strike, I realised they’re actually voluminous and I just need to step up my game and focus on getting better, hence, my reason for the INSPIRATION.
ReplyDeleteSo, Dynamic Hajia what’s your own answer?

The ultimate goal is to use the intimidation as a push to be a better person. It hasn't being easy but will definitely keep clapping for them. My time will come 👏

I don't really feel intimidated by them. I just try to see it as a challenge to try to work better and start focusing on what I can do to attain such heights.

I feel perhaps. Lol. It's both encouraging and intimidating. I feel like I should aspire to but at the same time I'm at the confused phase of my life. Like trying to figure things out phase. But figuring it out is seemingly slow
