'I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH'- 7 LIFE HACKS TO WIPE THIS RUINOUS WORD

'I AM NOT GOOD ENOUGH' - SEVEN (7) LIFE HACKS TO WIPE THIS RUINOUS WORD.

Once or more times in our lives, we've got to say this disastrous word to ourselves. From a personal study, I detected we are caught in the web of regret when we fail or see people achieve a feat we are pursuing in which we didn't succeed. Most humans are prone to condescending their abilities when they fail to meet up with their proposed agendas and it is quite unfortunate that most victims take inappropriate steps to overcome this challenge.

Few months ago, one of my mentees confided in me that she is giving up on schooling. Her decision outrightly came rather as a shock; first, her parents are financially capable to sponsor her education to the highest degree (hence, money is not an hindrance), then , academically, she is sound (at least, above average), why then does she want to give her education a lapse? Well, the reason is outlandish; it is heartaching that the teachers who are meant to be our springs of success are sometimes the key terminators of our career, how on earth would a teacher tell her student that her chance of succeeding is low simply because she couldn't make the toppers list? It is bugging that some tutors kill potentials in students who are not among the brightest.

The young naive girl took the teacher's word to heart, pondered over it and came to the conclusion that she isn't fit to chase her life goals just as her tutor claimed. Many sound minds have ditched their entire life goals just because of this word which is light on the mouth but heavy in the heart.

MY PERSONAL ORDEAL

The loyal readers of my articles would notice I took some times off my blogsite and halted publishing my write-ups, well, now is the confession time (lol). Aside from my busy schedule, I was down when I stopped getting support from some people , I thought they've found a better writer and because of this, I just write in sheets, squeeze into my hands and dump, of course, I lost the courage and fervor then but with the help of the Almighty who has blessed me with witty cognition, I got over my mishap, refilled my pen, reinvigorated myself and with the help of these 7 hacks, which I acronymize as 'BS²WRAP', I outshone my fear and came back stronger, dauntless and rigid.

PS: BEFORE YOU PROCEED, ENSURE YOU'RE SITTING COMFORTABLY WITH YOUR MIND OPENED TO DIFFUSE MY DYNAMIC WORDS... ENTERTAIN YOURSELF WITH FRUIT SALAD (Smiles)

Hack 1: BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, YOUR STRENGTH AND ABILITY; You don't need a soothsayer to tell you that you are great, you are favored and blessed. There are certain mistakes we make that wreck us and one of the most important is degrading ourselves. Every rise of the sun, appreciate your existence, believe you are the best at whatever thing(s) you are doing, be rest assured that you can conquer all odds, believe you are capable of turning things around, believe you are on the earth for a purpose which you must fulfil, believe you'll set a footprint which would be forever imprinted, then above all, believe the Almighty is in your support. Dear reader, don't mistake self esteem with pride; believing in yourself shouldn't hinder your cordiality with those who are more knowledgeable than you, don't stop seeking for assistance if need be. I, personally, didn't rekindle the fire alone but with the support of my mentor and similarly, I assisted my protège to regain her lost strength.

Hack 2: SAY 'NO' TO NEGATIVE PEOPLE; There are certain people I tag as 'goal decimators', this is the category of people who has seen the strength and confidence in you and would deliberately/out of jealousy plan to wreck you with their destructive words, they make you feel like you are not capable to stand out, they want to ruin you so you can join their league of losers. Immediately you sight any of the above behaviours in anyone, my dear reader, flee! They are weapons of destruction from the pit of hell.

Hack 3: SPEND YOUR LEISURE TIME WITH FOCUSED PEOPLE; We are bound to adjust to the characters of people we spend larger percentage of our time with. A typical African Yoruba maxim that, 'if a leaf stays on the soap for so long, it becomes soapy'. We are who we befriend, you can't be in the gathering of those who shout ' fuck haters' everytime and not have haters (lol). Stay in the gathering of people who are focused, who have great plans to execute, who discuss ideas and not those who go about meddling into others' businesses, badmouthing them and commiting all forms of atrocity. Train your spirit to be attached to positive thinkers. With them, you get the needed drive to dive.

Hack 4: WORK HARD AND ASSESS YOURSELF; Setting goals without applying adequate force is building a castle in the air, it is good to be a goal setter, it is better to be a smart thinker but it is best to be a striver, I could remember one of my previous quotes which goes thus; 'just like beans cannot be eaten unless cooked, success cannot be achieved unless vigorously worked for', don't be deceived , nothing good comes easy. Strive, strive , strive and once you feel you're set, avoid complacency, instead assess yourself; stand in front of a mirror and question yourself if you're good to go.

HACK 5: READ BOOKS: 'Readers are leaders', this outstanding quote lives on, in all, you need to widen your horizon, self-development books are good recommendations from me, reading about people and his they get to a point in their lives triggers us to strive hard (I would personally recommend a book by Late Professor Dupe Olatubosun- THE COURAGE TO LIVE, this book has contributed to my relentlessness over the years). Having travailed on the soils of the mother Earth for some years, I have realized that hidden treasures are embedded in books , hence, readers are the lucky fellas.

HACK 6: AVOID COMPARISONS; Until you bury the habit of condescending yourself while elevating others, you won't go far in life, there is no sin in appreciating others but never do it at the detriment of your mental health. Do your things, appreciate them, appreciate others, believe everyone is just good at what they do. Stop the unnecessary comparison, it will only result in heartache, bears jealousy and hatred. Be happy for yourself, be happy for others, don't go into competition with someone you should be learning from. Just live your life fully, accept yourself the way you and share love.

HACK 7: PRAY; This is coming as the last but definitely not the least; we need to understand that physical and emotional freedom differ from spiritual freedom; our maker, God, makes our strive prosperous, hence, His intervention is needed to achieve our goals. PRAY SO YOU WON'T STRAY!

To wrap it up, dear Dynamite, you need the 'BS²WRAP' to get rid of all negativities. Digest all and put to action. Much love❤️
